At the head of Endeavour Inlet, Marlborough Sounds lies a sun drenched farmstay in an idyllic setting at the base of the hills....
The Woolshed, which is surrounded by farmland, bush-covered hills behind and blue sea in front, is perfect for a relaxing holiday or overnight stay.
On the Queen Charlotte walkway - with easy access by water or track - this farmstay provides ideal accommodation for families, small groups or backpackers, with a 3-4 person hut, and a 2-3 person room in the woolshed.
Both rooms have cooking and eating facilities and a small fridge, and share a separate bathroom.
Take a short stroll through the flat farmland to the beach and river mouth, which are great for swimming; relax on the deck at the woolshed; or explore the Port Gore track and antimony mines.
It's only a short walk along the Queen Charlotte track to the Furneaux Lodge restaurant and bar.
